Slotwall panels are wall-mounted organization systems with horizontal channels that accept a wide range of hooks, shelves, bins, and brackets, available at Windsor Plywood. Slotwall provides stronger, more adjustable support than standard pegboard for tools, equipment, and accessories in garages, workshops, retail displays, and storage areas.
| Typical Panel Size | 4' x 8' |
|---|---|
| Materials | Melamine-faced MDF (interior); PVC-faced (moisture resistant for garages) |
| Channel Spacing | Standard 3" on centre |
| Application | Garages, workshops, retail displays, storage walls |
Slotwall is used in garage organization systems, workshop tool storage walls, retail display fixtures, and home storage areas where adjustable, flexible shelving and hook systems are needed. PVC slotwall is preferred in garages and utility areas where moisture exposure from vehicles and condensation is a concern.
What is the difference between slotwall and pegboard?
Slotwall has horizontal channels that accept specially designed hooks, shelves, and bins rated for higher loads than standard pegboard hooks. Pegboard uses 1/4" holes that accept lightweight hooks. Slotwall provides a stronger, more adjustable system and a more finished appearance.
Can I cut slotwall panels on site?
Yes. Slotwall can be cut with a circular saw or jigsaw using a fine-tooth blade. For clean cuts on melamine-faced panels, score the face with a utility knife before cutting to minimize chipping.
